It’s with a heavy heart that I have to say goodbye today to one of my all time favorite wrestlers – The “Macho Man” Randy Savage. Randy (real name Randall Poffo) passed away earlier today after a car accident. Apparently he had a heart attack at the wheel while driving. He was 58 years old.

WrestleMania 27 is just a few days away and just as in many previous years there is a “celebrity” on the card. I’ve got celebrity in quotes there cause personally I don’t consider Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi from MTV’s Jersey Shore a celebrity. That said, most of the known universe (and certainly much of the WWE [...]

Brief introduction package on what we’re going to see this evening. Vince, Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler on the call which is a great announcing lineup. We get right into the first match.

We kick off the show with images from the original WrestleMania. Little Richard sings America The Beautiful poorly. Pretty sure he was lip syncing and he looks like a damn wax statue. Scary dude. We [...]
WrestleMania XXVI is in the books and I have to say it was a very good offering overall. Quite frankly this is the type of show I wish they had last year for the 25th anniversary. It wasn’t anything mind blowing but it was a very solid event from top to bottom.
Showmiz vs. [...]

From the very beginning of this DVD you know you’re in for something special. The intro is a voice over by Vince REALLY turning it on. Images of a celestial Hogan and Warrior are shown and Vince booms about [...]
WrestleMania XXVI will take place on March 28th in Arizona. I’m happy to say that after working through some logistical issues, Pip and I will once again renew our Beeramid tradition! As with years past, we have created these “rules of engagement” which will help us to construct that glorious structure.
So Vince McMahon went on Monday Night Raw the other night and stated that Bret Hart would never be seen in the WWE again. This of course means that we will DEFINITELY see Bret Hart in the WWE again and I’m thinking that will happen very soon. Sounds to me like they’re setting up a [...]
Years ago there were three major wrestling organizations out there (professional wrestling that is). The WWE, the WCW and the ECW. These days two out of those three no longer exist as Vince McMahon’s WWE has taken the top spot in the wrestling world. For years we had this concept of the “Monday Night Wars” [...]
