Time magazine (and its associated website) is typically a pretty decent read. I’m not a big political guy, so I tend to skip that stuff, but when I actually read a story it’s normally pretty OK. I read fiction because I’m looking for an escape from real life. For me there are a couple of types of fiction. Some you know is nothing more than a fantasy (Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, etc.) The second type blurs the boundaries of reality and has you thinking “this could really happen”. The Last Patriot fits firmly into the second category. Thor does an amazing job blending his fiction with real life… so much so that you have a hard time deciding where the facts end and the story begins.

Thank God It’s The 3rd
As everyone knows, November 2nd is Election Day. 406 is and always will be an apolitical blog so don’t worry… I’m not able to celebrate or complain about yesterdays results. What I am going to say is that I’m SO damn glad that I don’t have to hear about it any more.
