Once again this year, Pip made his yearly trek to the Cleveland area for a weekend of reliving memories and debauchery. This year’s trip happened to coincide with Opening Day for the Indians so we headed down to the stadium to take in a game with my brother Marko and buddy Al. As we have for many years, Pip and I got together (once again this year with my brother Marko) to watch WrestleMania 27 and attempt a great feat… The Beeramid. As always, we had our list of rules to govern the night’s action. We were ready and willing… but were we able?

WrestleMania 27 is just a few days away and just as in many previous years there is a “celebrity” on the card. I’ve got celebrity in quotes there cause personally I don’t consider Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi from MTV’s Jersey Shore a celebrity. That said, most of the known universe (and certainly much of the WWE universe) knows who she is so Vince shelled out what I’m sure I’d consider way too much money to bring her to the biggest WWE pay-per-view of the year.

These types of lists typically come out at the beginning of the year. I’m all for giving convention the middle finger so I’m doing it in the day after St. Patrick’s Day. Got a problem with that? We’re smack dab in the middle of the Road To WrestleMania. Ever since the Royal Rumble in January, the WWE has kicked it into high gear getting ready for their flagship show. I have to say that going into the Rumble I wasn’t overly optimistic about this year’s show. With the exception of Taker/Shawn I really can’t remember much from last year’s Mania other than to say that it was better than an average Mania. (Here are my thoughts on WrestleMania 26)

WrestleMania 27 – The Morning After
WrestleMania 27 is in the books. While Pip, my bro and I had an absolute BLAST building this year’s Beeramid (pics here) I have to say the show was pretty lackluster. It took a good 24 minutes after the show started for the first match to get underway… that’s just WAY too long in my opinion (even with the Rock starting things off).
