WrestleMania 27 is in the books.  While Pip, my bro and I had an absolute BLAST building this year’s Beeramid (pics here) I have to say the show was pretty lackluster.  It took a good 24 minutes after the show started for the first match to get underway… that’s just WAY too long in my opinion (even with the Rock starting things off).

We’re smack dab in the middle of the Road To WrestleMania.  Ever since the Royal Rumble in January, the WWE has kicked it into high gear getting ready for their flagship show.  I have to say that going into the Rumble I wasn’t overly optimistic about this year’s show.   With the exception of Taker/Shawn I really can’t remember much from last year’s Mania other than to say that it was better than an average Mania. Pip, my brother and I got together and carried on our tradition of watching WrestleMania together.  This was the 25th anniversary of the show so were expecting big things and a great show.  What we got (with a couple of exceptions) was neither.  Overall I’d have to say it was a pretty bad show with just a couple of high spots – certainly not what we were expecting from the biggest show of the year… and the 25th anniversary at that.  I’ll take it one step further and say that the only thing that made this one watchable was that… Continue reading
