The wife isn’t a huge horror movie fan, but she’ll indulge me once a year on Halloween. Last year we watched Psycho and the previous year we checked out the original Halloween. This is an officially licensed product available from Star Wars Shop. That tells me that there was not only a product designer but also someone from Lucas Film that looked at this costume and said, “Yep – looks good. In 1980 the face of horror movies changed. We were introduced to Camp Crystal Lake and a killer named Jason Voorhees (yes, I know that Jason’s mother was the killer in the original… stick with me). From 1980 to 2003, we were given 11 sequels that took Jason from Crystal Lake to deep space, New York City and even to Hell. After nearly 30 years it was time for this franchise to get rebooted… apparently.
