If you never watched V: The Original Miniseries you might not know who Donovan is. You may not know who Diana, John or Juliet are. But aside from the opening dream sequence that would make absolutely no sense to you it would be relatively easy to pick this one up and understand what’s going on.
Just as V: The Original Miniseries, V: The Final Battle was a made for TV event that played out over a few nights in the early 80′s (1984 to be exact). After the initial dream sequence, the story opens on the Resistance preparing for… Continue reading
Origin movies are generally pretty dry. They have to tell the back story of the character to make sure that everyone is up to speed. This movie suffers a little bit from that but it’s one of the best first installments of a comic book character that we’ve had in a long time.
Written by comic legend Stan Lee and directed by Sam Raimi, Spider-Man tells the story of Peter Parker (played perfectly by Tobey Maguire). Parker is a teenager coming of age who happens to be bitten by a radioactive spider on a school field trip. After that fateful… Continue reading
I tell you what… I’ve always thought of myself as a pretty positive person. I know that the economy sucks donkey balls and it’s been pretty shitty for a while now but JESUS. - First Energy to cut 335 management, support staff positions
- Jobless rate in Cuyahoga County lower than state as… Continue reading

That said it can be incredibly addicting and if you’re like me you can get caught up in the hype. Similar to MySpace and LinkedIn, Facebook allows you to become “friends” with people. They need to approve you as a friend but there’s really nothing to it. Once that’s occurred, you’re able to view information about them (whatever they’ve set up as available at… Continue reading →
