Lord… How I wish this wasn’t real.  The Wrestler is an incredible movie.  It’s great for a variety of reasons but the main reason is that it shows the “real” side of professional wrestling.  It shows how difficult this business can be on the wrestlers.  It shows how much the performers give up for their profession.

If this is Rourke’s way of drumming up press for his new movie then so be it.  For Vince McMahon I can almost guarantee that it’s nothing more than a money grab.  I’d hoped that Rourke was above that…
